About the role

About the role

This is a people-first role at the heart of our Help to Claim service. You'll be the connector — building meaningful relationships with community groups, health professionals, charities and local organisations to ensure that the people who need our support the most can find us.

Whether you're attending a community event, nurturing a partnership, or analysing engagement data, your work will directly help minoritised and underserved groups access the financial support they're entitled to.

Your day-to-day

You'll be out in the community, building connections with local organisations and driving referrals into the Help to Claim service. You'll organise events, attend networking opportunities and act as the vital link between external partners and our internal teams. You'll also track performance, produce weekly updates and provide insight that shapes how we grow and improve the service.

What you'll bring

You're a confident communicator who can build rapport quickly and represent our service with warmth and professionalism. You're organised, self-motivated and comfortable managing a varied workload. You bring creativity to problem-solving and a genuine commitment to supporting diverse communities. Experience in community engagement, business development or a similar role would be great — but above all, we're looking for someone who shares our values and is ready to make a real difference.

We’re Disability Confident

Disability Confident is a government scheme that supports employers to improve how they recruit, retain, and develop disabled people.
