About the role
Make a Real Difference in Your Community
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Community Outreach Adviser to deliver holistic advice and support within local communities, with a particular focus on improving financial resilience.
In this rewarding role, you will work directly with individuals to help them maximise their income through welfare benefit and grant applications, identify money-saving opportunities, address debt concerns, and access a wide range of support services. No two days will be the same as you provide practical, person-centred advice that helps people improve their financial wellbeing and achieve greater stability.
You will be a confident communicator with a naturally enquiring mind, able to navigate complex advice queries using a range of resources and guidance. Working independently across community settings, you will build trusted relationships with residents, partner organisations, and other stakeholders to ensure people receive the support they need.
About You
Passionate about helping people and improving community wellbeing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
Comfortable dealing with complex issues and researching solutions.
Skilled at building and maintaining positive relationships with partner agencies and community groups.
Organised, resilient, and adaptable in a community-based role.
Experience
Previous experience in advice, welfare benefits, debt support, community engagement, or a related field would be advantageous. However, trainee applications are welcomed from candidates who can demonstrate strong transferable skills and the ability to quickly absorb and apply training materials.
If you are committed to making a positive impact and empowering people to overcome financial challenges, we would love to hear from you.
