About the role
Join Citizens Advice Kensington and Chelsea and help local people find a way forward.
We are looking for either a qualified Generalist Adviser or a Trainee Generalist Adviser to provide high-quality, independent advice to residents in one of London’s most diverse boroughs.
Kensington and Chelsea includes some of the wealthiest neighbourhoods in the country, alongside communities experiencing significant poverty and disadvantage. Our advisers play a vital role in helping people understand their rights, access support and take practical steps to resolve problems.
Based at our head office in Earl’s Court, you will work across a range of services, including our Adviceline telephone service, face-to-face appointments, weekly borough drop-ins, outreach at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, St Charles Hospital mental health centre and the K&C Foodbank, and ongoing support for residents affected by the Grenfell fire tragedy.
You will join a paid and volunteer team with a wide range of backgrounds, skills and lived experiences.
We offer a supportive environment where you can make a meaningful difference while developing your advice skills and career.
