About the role

We’re recruiting Advisers and as the job title suggests you’d be in the community (and on the phone), providing advice and assistance to people across the range of advice topics.

The development pathway for this role leads to becoming a qualified adviser with the scope to progress to caseworker level.

You will be empathetic and take a person-centred approach to your work, adapting to the needs of each individual client.

You will have the ability to understand written and oral information of some complexity; have good numeracy skills (sufficient to compile accurate financial statements and calculate benefits) and be confident using IT and cloud-based systems.

You will be organised, able to use your initiative, and work effectively as part of a multi-service team.

We’re Disability Confident

Disability Confident is a government scheme that supports employers to improve how they recruit, retain, and develop disabled people.
