Supporting microbusiness customers with debt: A good practice guide for non-domestic suppliers

Supporting microbusiness customers with debt: A good practice guide for non-domestic suppliers 564 KB

The Cost of Living crisis has hit the non-domestic sector hard. Rocketing energy prices have pushed thousands of small businesses into debt, and in many cases, to close.

In the domestic market, energy suppliers are required to set up affordable repayment plans for customers in debt, and there are rigorous restrictions on when a home can be disconnected. In the non-domestic sector, no such requirements exist.

Our Good Practice Guide highlights why this is short sighted, and outlines what suppliers can do to improve their customer’s experiences.
