Are you looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to play a key role in developing the provision of immigration advice for people in North and West Kent?

This is a new role within CANWK, created as part of our commitment to invest in the growth and development of our immigration advice service for the benefit of our local communities. It is certainly an exciting time to be joining us; having developed our immigration advice service over the last 7 years, we now have an established and effective team of OISC Level 2 & 3 Advisers supporting people from across Kent.

We are now entering a new chapter for the service as we begin delivering Legal Aid for the first time and continue to position our organisation at the forefront of free immigration advice in Kent. The successful candidate must be a skilled Immigration Caseworker, with the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Law Accreditation (IAAS) at Level 2 and experience of working successfully under contract for immigration advice with the Legal Aid Agency. You will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, who is committed to providing high quality advice to the most vulnerable clients.

In return, you can expect a competitive salary and benefits package and a flexible working environment within a supportive and friendly team.

Every local Citizens Advice is a registered charity. Different application procedures are adopted by individual local Citizens Advice. Contact the relevant one as outlined in the information about this role. You should not send an application form to national Citizens Advice.

All local Citizens Advice produce their own annual report, but you can find out more about the Citizens Advice network or download the latest national Citizens Advice annual report.
