Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you have at least 6 months’ experience giving advice on a broad range of subjects such as money, benefits and housing? Are you an excellent communicator and willing to take the lead? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

North Yorkshire Citizens Advice & Law Centre is an independent charity providing free, confidential and impartial information and advice on a range of issues. We have 8 offices throughout North Yorkshire and help over 25,000 people every year. We are seeking an Advice Session Supervisor who will be responsible for providing support and supervision to staff and volunteers in our Harrogate and Skipton offices, as well as team members working remotely or at outreach settings.

The successful candidate will be willing and able to work within and travel between both offices. The role involves managing the practicalities of advice sessions and supporting staff and volunteers to ensure we are consistently providing high quality advice. We are seeking someone who works well within a team and who has the ability to adapt the level of support to each individual whilst giving appropriate encouragement and challenging constructively when necessary.

Every local Citizens Advice is a registered charity. Different application procedures are adopted by individual local Citizens Advice. Contact the relevant one as outlined in the information about this role. You should not send an application form to national Citizens Advice.
