Citizens Advice Leighton-Linslade (CALL) is looking to for a full-time Session Supervisor / Caseworker to join our lively and supportive team in the centre of the vibrant market town of Leighton Buzzard. Your principal role will be to manage and co-ordinate the activities of our advice sessions effectively although there will also be the need from time to time to pick up a case load of more vulnerable clients who need more comprehensive support. You will be reporting to our Advice Services Manager and be expected to supervise and monitor the quality of advice being given by both staff and volunteers. You’ll also work closely with other staff to support the training and development of volunteers and promote our work in the local community.

Ideally you will have recent experience of supervising advice within Citizens Advice but if you are experienced in the welfare benefits/housing advice sector then there will be the opportunity to train into the role. We are also looking for people who have a compassionate and patient attitude and willingness to adopt the aims and principles of Citizens Advice in general and CALL in particular. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to use a range of IT systems and accurate case recording skills.
