Citizens Advice Portsmouth are looking to recruit a Bid Writer to join the Business Development Team .
  • This role will report directly to the Business Development Manager and the successful candidate be responsible for providing a bid writing capability in support of winning campaigns.
  • Delivering completed customer focused written proposal responses against agreed deadlines – compiling, writing, and editing detailed descriptions of the technical offering. Rewriting/editing proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from Business Development, Operational Team, Finance, HR, Legal and Project Delivery.
  • Supporting meetings with Proposal Manager and Key stakeholders to illicit information and plan responses Managing the Bid Document to ensure quality of text and formatting consistently through reviews, final proofs, counter sign off and document production.
  • This is an exciting new role working for a rapidly growing organisation, it will require flexibility and commitment to the Organisation's strategic goals.
  • Your skills and experience: Have practical and relevant work experience, ideally within our industry sector. • Good project management skills, ideally within the context of proposal management or business winning. • Proven excellent writing experience for PQQ, RFI’s, ITT/ITN/RFP/RFQ or Framework.
